Dynamic Welsh rockers, Stereophonics will tour Australia for the 4th time this April, following the November 2009 release of 'Keep Calm and Carry On' (Universal Music), their 7th studio album.

Formed in Wales in 1996, Stereophonics' sound is as distinctive as Kelly Jones' wonderfully rustic vocals and his poetic melancholy and elusively introspective lyrics.

The band's first studio album release 'Word Gets Around' did just that, the band's enduring popularity solidified by extensive touring. Subsequent albums 'Performance and Cocktails', 'Just Enough Education To Perform', 'You Gotta Go There To Come Back', 'Language. Sex. Violence. Other?' and 'Pull The Pin', expanded the band's fan base, the last five hitting the top spot in the UK charts.

With the release of a greatest hits collection, 'Decade In The Sun', featuring key tracks such as Have A Nice Day, Dakota, Mr Writer, Superman, Just Looking, Pick a Part That's New, The Bartender and the Thief, and Maybe Tomorrow, the band's worldwide album sales have now surpassed 9 million.

Ten years after their first Australian tour Stereophonics last hit our shores in 2008, selling out shows and garnering rave reviews so don't miss the return of Stereophonics, playing at Fremantle Arts Centre Saturday April 10!
