Fremantle Mapping
Help

The mapping system allows users to navigate around the City of Fremantle and view a wide range of topographical and planning features.

Layers
There are a range of layers available for display. Each of these is layered on top of each other. Therefore, if you have the r-code layer visible the zoning layer will not be visible even if selected as it is beneath the r-code layer.

Some layers do not become visible until you are zoomed in to a certain level. This includes property, house numbers and road names. Likewise, some layers disappear once you are zoomed in too far, including wards, r-coding and zoning.

A layer is turned on and off by checking and de-checking the box beside the layer.

You cannot turn the boundary layer off.

Search
To jump directly to a property you can use the search function by selecting the suburb from the drop-down menu above the layer list. This will then display a list of streets in the suburb. By selecting the appropriate street you will be able to select a particular property from the drop-down list, which will be immediately displayed and centred on the map.

The searched property is highlighted with a red boundary. The highlight will disappear when you next pan or zoom.

To undertake another search click the "reset" button beside the drop-down list.
